We are currently looking for a Trade Activation Manager (TAM) with 3 + years experience in retail sales and marketing, with an emphasis on account planning and management. Prior knowledge of the beer and/or spirits industry is preferred. This position will work with sales teams to strategically execute trade marketing programs and initiatives in assigned territories.


  • Ability to access interactive and the timely completion of assigned training curriculum. Education, training and shopper insights will be provided.
  • Familiarity with alcohol brands and category management with the capability to suggestively sell
  • Partner with local sales team and distributors to accelerate brand awareness and objective execution
  • Provide SWOT analysis on assigned accounts to local team members
  • Understanding and ability to discuss Gross Margins, ROI, KPI, etc
  • Present & discuss client brand portfolio to retailers and customers
  • Brand Activation promotional events which may include product sampling and occasional nights/weekends
  • Ability to work independently in daily route, account development and program execution
  • Effectively build shopper desirable displays with brand merchandise and point of connection materials
  • Understanding of local and national KPIs, pricing, marketing programs and proper execution
  • Utilize sales and technical tools to identify opportunities at account level (ABU, AB Selling Skills, Mobility)
  • Ability to create and edit reports for appropriate business plan presentations
  • Showcase daily wins, challenges and brand awareness via client social media platforms
  • Attention and understanding of defined state legalities
  • Understanding of local market insights; geography & demographics
  • Adhere to deadlines and assigned budget
  • Proactive participant in local team activities; events, meetings and communications
  • Professionally endorse client brands and promotions via social media outlets (Twitter, Facebook, etc)
  • Daily commute in personal vehicle to assigned accounts, routed in most economical way
  • Business casual dress, accentuating represented brands


  • 3+ years industry, retail, sales and/or marketing experience required (knowledge of beer industry a plus)
  • Bachelors Degree in related field
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be detail oriented, organized and professional
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently with results-driven focus on program objectives
  • Team player with ability to take direction, while also exercising leadership qualities
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Above average technical capabilities (iOS devices, apps, software, etc)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Personal computer with internet access & printer (Macs are NOT preferred)
  • Smart phone and data plan
  • Dependable vehicle, valid driver's license and current insurance coverage
  • Clean driving record and background check
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs


Primarily working at wholesaler offices and off-premise accounts in market
