Primary responsibilities:

         Identify insights, create opportunities, and deliver solutions that drive profitable sales growth.

         Provide solutions that address priorities, anticipate needs, and build lasting relationships.

         Develop beer category plans, strategies, and tactics that support initiatives from Sales & Key Accounts.

         Direct and perform analysis across a wide variety of retail business development issues.

         Participate in joint calls with Sales Reps/Team Leaders, and KAMs regarding Independent and Chain customers.

         Manage category space responsibilities, present R.A. Jeffreys shelf set capabilities to retailer.

         Develop and recommend brand assortment and shelf schematic/planograms.

         Communicate/coordinate reset schedules/guidelines with CS Merchandisers and Sales Team. 

         Oversee entire reset process, track and measure result

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business/marketing or related field.
  • Knowledge of category management tools and processes. 
  • Advanced computer software proficiency (including Word, Excel, Power Point) SPP is a plus. 
  • Strong familiarity with syndicated data, software, and measures (IRI, Nielsen, demographic data, etc.). 
  • Experience with consumer packaged goods sales or marketing.
  • Prior experience analyzing retailer data and presenting to retail customers. 
  • Understanding of retail environment, processes and DSD. 
  • Strong communication, follow-up, organizational, and presentation skills. 
  • Familiarity with space management activities.
